Top 5 Funk Artists
5T) The Ohio Players
5T) The Gap Band
4) Rick James
3) Prince
2) James Brown
1) George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars (Parliament Funkadelic)
Honorable Mention: Dr. Dre*
*Before you go "Dre? Terence are you crazy?" go listen to "The Chronic." Not only can you hear the strong influence (read: samples...) of Parliament, but Dre's actually spoken on it. Which is cool. Dre's "G-Funk" introduced funk to a whole new generation.

Ive been reading these for a while (since Sarah told me that both of you stole my idea that I stole from John Cusack and company) but I've never posted till now. Just wanted to say that I like what you've got going here. And though our order and/or choices may vary from time to time, it seems that we have very similar taste in a majority of the finer things in life.
Keep'm comin!
